PASS Opus Update: Billing, Enrollment & Certificates (July 2026)
Every month we improve PASS Opus, our training platform. This month’s work centered on the parts of the account your team touches most: paying invoices, managing subscriptions, and getting people enrolled. We tightened up how discounts and payments flow, made buying and assigning training more dependable, and made sure certificate verification links always land. Here is what is new for administrators, trainers, and learners in July 2026.

PASS Opus Update Explorer
A PASS Training & Compliance tool. Every improvement we shipped in PASS Opus in July 2026, in one filterable list. Pick an area to see only its updates, or search a keyword to find the ones that touch how your team buys, assigns, and verifies training.
Billing & Payments
Your negotiated discount applies on its own. If your company has a discount rate on file, it now flows through automatically on monthly invoices, issued invoices, and at checkout, with no separate setup step in between. The rate you agreed to is the rate you pay, everywhere it should appear.
Smoother online invoice payment. The pay-an-invoice page has been updated to the latest version of our payment system. Entering a card and confirming a payment stays quick and dependable, and the confirmation you see reflects the real status of the payment.
Clearer overdue status on subscription invoices. A subscription invoice now shows an Overdue badge the moment it passes its due date, the same way one-time invoices always have. A past-due balance is easy to spot at a glance instead of blending in with everything else on the list.
Subscription pricing stays in sync. When a plan’s price is updated, the new amount now carries straight through to your subscription. The figure shown on your subscriptions page always matches what you are actually billed, so there is no second-guessing the number.
Enrollment & Certificates
Buy-and-assign always lands. Purchasing a training seat and assigning it to a team member in the same step now creates that assignment right away, even when your account is carrying a credit balance. The person you assigned can start immediately, and the seat you paid for is never left sitting unused.
A tidier training cart. Your cart now keeps itself clean. Items left behind from an earlier session no longer get in the way of adding the same course again, and if a seat you are adding is already assigned to someone, Opus takes you straight to the cart so you can adjust it in one move instead of hitting a dead end.
Reliable public certificate verification. Every certificate link on a student’s public verification page now opens the correct record. An employer, regulator, or auditor checking a completion reaches the right certificate on the first click, which keeps your students’ credentials easy to confirm.
