M-PACT 2016: Spotlight on Indiana
M-PACT 2016 will be held March 22-24 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana
As we get ready for M-PACT 2016, we want to take a look at what's going on in the states participating in this annual tradeshow. Let's look at what's new in Indiana.
- The Indiana Department of Environmental Management IDEM) has begun using a new billing system. IDEM will collect UST fees on a calendar year of January 1 to December 31.
- IDEM is also using a new Notification for Underground Storage Tanks form (state form 45223). This form and instructions on completing it can be found on IDEM's forms page.
- The new Notification for Underground Storage Tanks form requires owners/operators to provide their financial responsibility information. In addition, UST owners/operators who want to use the Excess Liability Trust Fund (ELTF) as a financial responsibility mechanism must submit the Certificate of Financial Assurance (COFA) Request Form to IDEM.
