Does Your UST Operator Certification Expire This Year?
August 8, 2014 marks the two-year anniversary of the federal UST operator training deadline. If you live in a state with a two-year UST operator retraining requirement and you were certified in 2012, your UST operator certificate expires this year. These states include:
- California
- A/B and C operators must be retrained and recertified every 2 years
- Connecticut
- C operators must be retrained and recertified every 2 years
- Hawai`i
- C operators must be retrained and recertified every 2 years
- Illinois
- A/B and C operators must be retrained and recertified every 2 years
- Maine
- A/B operators must be retrained and recertified every 2 years
- New Hampshire
- A/B operators must be retrained and recertified every 2 years
- Vermont
- A/B and C operators must be retrained and recertified every 2 years
If you can't remember when your training was completed, don't worry, we've got you covered.
