March Platform Enhancements to PASS Harmonics, Symphonics & ATG Connect

We've released a major round of enhancements across the My PASS Tools Suite focused on inspection scheduling accuracy, paperwork reliability, director-level visibility, notification improvements, and overall platform performance.

We've released another strong round of enhancements across the My PASS Tools Suite this month. March focused on scheduling accuracy, a major new tank monitoring integration, paperwork reliability on all platforms, and performance improvements across the board.

Scheduling & Inspections

Facility Timezone-Aware Scheduling — Inspection scheduling now threads the facility's local timezone through the entire workflow, ensuring due dates and timeliness calculations are accurate regardless of where your facilities are located.

Smarter Due Dates — Inspections now carry a dedicated due_at date, simplifying how the system determines timeliness and giving dispatchers clearer visibility into upcoming deadlines.

Inactive Inspector Reassignment — When a Facility Service Plan is activated, the system now automatically detects and reassigns inspectors who are no longer active, preventing scheduling gaps.

Inspection State Filters — Inspection list pages now include a state filter, making it easy to zero in on inspections by their current status without scrolling through the full list.

Delegate Carry-Over on FSP Swaps — Swapping a Facility Service Plan now correctly carries over the delegate assignment, preserving your delegation workflows.

Dashboard Cleanup — Failed inspections no longer appear on the company dashboard, keeping the view focused on actionable items.

Paperwork & Documents

Windows-Friendly Downloads — Paperwork ZIP exports have been overhauled to handle long filenames and path limits on Windows. Filenames are now simplified and truncated automatically so downloads work reliably across all operating systems.

Expanded Director Paperwork Views — Directors now see organization-generated paperwork in both their suggestions and reports, not just paperwork tied to their personal user account.

Paperwork Source Attribution — Manually created paperwork now correctly attributes the source to the user who created it, improving audit trails.

Multi-Upload for Alternative Results — Alternative results PDFs now support multi-file upload, streamlining the process of attaching multiple documents at once.

PDF Field Standardization — Behind the scenes, fillable PDF field names have been standardized and regenerated across the platform for consistency and future automation.

Photos & Attachments

Flexible Photo Deletion — Users who have permission to update a parent resource (facility, equipment, etc.) can now delete associated photos, removing a common friction point for field teams.

Dark Mode Caption Fix — Attachment captions are now fully legible in dark mode, resolving a readability issue.

Integrations

Titan Cloud Export (New!) — A brand-new integration with Titan Cloud is now live. PASS Tools can export data directly to Titan via FTP, with support for custom date ranges and a streamlined file path structure.

Protean Fixes — Resolved issues with Protean facility number parsing and FTP archive failures when duplicate manifest files existed.

Notifications

Daily Action Item Emails — Users now receive daily email notifications summarizing their outstanding action items, helping teams stay on top of compliance tasks without logging in.

Reports & Exports

Background CSV Exports — Large company inspection CSV exports now run as a background job, eliminating timeouts on big datasets. The export is delivered when ready rather than blocking the browser.

Revenue by Customer Report — A new administrative report provides revenue broken down by customer for internal analysis.

Facilities & Monitoring

Facility State Filters — The company facilities index page now includes a state filter for quickly narrowing down facilities by location.

Director Performance Boost — The Director facilities query has been optimized for significantly faster load times on large portfolios.

Monitoring Date Picker Fix — Date pickers on company monitoring pages now correctly retain selected dates, resolving an issue where filters would reset.

Under the Hood

Ruby 4.0.2 — The platform has been upgraded to Ruby 4.0.2, keeping us current with the latest performance and security improvements.

ViewComponent Upgrade — Migrated from a custom fork to the official upstream ViewComponent 4.4.0 library, improving long-term maintainability.

Timezone Standardization — All timezone dropdowns now use standard IANA timezone values, preventing edge-case mismatches.

PDF Generation Resilience — Added automatic retry logic for headless browser PDF generation failures, reducing intermittent download errors.

Database Integrity — Added NOT NULL constraints and data backfills across inspections to enforce data consistency at the database level.

Notification Performance — Added a database index on notification preferences, speeding up notification delivery across the platform.
