End of Life for Internet Explorer

End of life for Internet Explorer! Long live modern browsing!
Microsoft is finally
ending support for Internet Explorer 8, 9, and 10 on January 12th, and releasing just one final patch while
asking users to
upgrade to either IE 11 or Microsoft Edge. End of support means that Microsoft will no longer supply updates for these versions of their browser. This move means the browser will
no longer receive updates to vulnerabilities or technical support. Microsoft called for end of support for IE 8, 9, & 10 back in August of 2014. They also moved IE to legacy status in March of 2015.
Microsoft's website lays out the company's reasoning and outlines how to upgrade to IE 11 or Microsoft Edge. They also give a paths for enterprise companies with 500+ employees for enterprise mode, migration and deployment programs.

PASS LMS and PASS Tools support IE 9, 10, and 11, but we will be dropping support for IE 9 & 10 later this year to assure that we are secure and maintain a high level user experience. We suggest using a modern browser any time you are on the web. We constantly upgrade and proactively patch any security vulnerabilities. One of our largest headaches has been trying to support the antiquated Internet Explorer.
